This post is going to be a quick one! Last weekend I set myself a goal to complete 2 runs and 1 yoga session before the end of this weekend.
I’m sitting in my living room, in my pants at 10 pm having just done a yoga session, and I’ve achieved my goal. But, I have to say that I wouldn’t have run or yoga’d if I hadn’t set myself the task! The first run was in a gym on a running machine and I could so easily have gone straight for breakfast in the hotel I was staying in. The second run was Saturday morning, we were going out for the day and it was 5 degrees Celsius outside. I’d have bailed on that too. And from the unwanted mental image I gave you before, you can conclude that 10 pm is not my usual yoga time. I did it because I’d set myself a goal.
I’ve always known that setting goals is a real motivator for me, but I didn’t imagine I’d prove it quite so clearly. I’ve got a food and drink challenge coming up soon, so watch this space.
For now, I had a great weekend and I hope anyone who happens across this post has one too.

As ever, I’m doing all this to raise money, I’d be extremely grateful if you’d give me a donation
